Claude and the Mathematics of the Chain
Abstract
This synthetic research study explores how a Claude-like reasoning agent could learn to interpret blockchains through state transitions, integer arithmetic, transaction ordering, liquidity invariants and automated market makers. Rather than relying on a single quoted price or a market narrative, the framework emphasizes the mathematical relationship between ledger observations, mechanism assumptions, simulated outcomes and uncertainty. Minimal diagrams clarify how execution costs and pool geometry alter realizable value. A brief illustrative token scenario is embedded within the liquidity analysis, but the primary focus is the development and evaluation of rigorous on-chain mathematical reasoning.
